We understand life can get busy. However, to finalize arrangements with our venue and vendors, any outstanding RSVPs after September 1, 2026, will be considered a respectful decline.

Guest Arrival: 3:30 PM
Ceremony Begins: 4:00 PM

Cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing to follow.

We encourage guests to arrive with enough time to settle in, connect, and fully enjoy the evening together.

Everything is on one level. The ceremony will be outdoors. Reception will be indoors.

The washrooms are close to the reception space.

There will be two bottles of wine per table, and two drink tickets per guest. There is a cash bar provided by the Josie Hotel to follow.

Accommodations

A room block has been reserved at The Josie Hotel for our guests at a discounted rate of $189 + taxes/fees.

If you have a Teck discount, your discount is greater than the cost of the room block. We recommend booking through your discount,
and letting the hotel know you are a part of our wedding. They can add you to the information and such.

Accessible rooms are available at the Josie Hotel - Make sure you request at the time of booking, or call the hotel to request your room as an accessible room.

Dress Code

Formal Attire in Rich Fall Tones

We invite you to wear your favourite formal attire in warm autumn-inspired colours as we gather together for an elegant and heartfelt evening of celebration.

Please refrain from wearing White, Ivory, or pastel colours.

Top hats, Tuxedos, Fur, and your Fanciest, are most welcome, and encouraged as well!

Appetizer

Fall Greens & Shaved Fennel Salad

Local greens, shaved fennel, radish, sunflower seeds, balsamic vinaigrette.

Honey-Roasted Carrots (GF)

Warm heirloom carrots glazed in honey-dill yogurt, toasted pistachios, shaved radishes, finished with white balsamic.

Mains

Grilled Chicken (DF)&(GF)

Free-run chicken breast, herb jus, roasted vegetables, fingerling potatoes

Ling Cod Risotto (GF)

Pan-seared black cod on a sake-maple glazed risotto, and broccolini

Grilled Striploin Steak (GF)

Served Medium rare. Grass-fed striploin, garlic butter, grilled vegetables, crispy baby potatoes

Dessert

A build your own Pavlova Bar will be created by the Josie Hotel.

We will also have a chai + apricot German buttercream cake from Artistic Bake Shop Ltd.

A late night snack of German pretzels with mustard dips, and a charcuterie will also be served.

If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please indicate them in your RSVP form and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

A vegan meal option is available upon request. If you require a vegan entrée, please contact us directly prior to submitting your RSVP so we can ensure appropriate arrangements are made.

Bar & Beverage Information

Each guest will receive two drink tickets to enjoy throughout the evening. In addition, each table will be provided with one bottle of red wine and one bottle of white wine during dinner. There is a cash bar provided by the Josie Hotel to follow.

As per venue policy at The Josie Hotel, outside alcohol is not permitted within the wedding and event spaces. Any outside alcohol brought into the venue areas will be confiscated by the hotel and could potentially result in additional charges to us as the hosts.

We kindly ask that any personal alcohol remain within your hotel room and not be brought into the celebration spaces.

A Few Loving Notes

We adore your little ones. To allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation and celebration, we kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children 13 and over.

With love and appreciation, we ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Due to limited venue capacity, we may not be able to accommodate additional guests or plus ones.

If you would like to inquire about bringing an additional guest, please contact us prior to RSVPing.

Gifts

We feel so grateful to celebrate this day surrounded by the people we love most.

For those who are curious about gifts, we are currently focused on building our future together and would be most appreciative of monetary contributions toward our next chapter as newlyweds.

As Kassandra does not drink alcohol, we kindly ask that alcoholic gifts be avoided.
